When an American top-secret, stealth fighter jet crashes in the remote desert south of Tehran, Iran, Troy Barclay and Amber Neilson are sent to Tehran to recover the pilot and the aircraft’s computer ‘brain’. With the help of hitman Devon Wilson, and his wife, Oksana, the four Americans impersonate a Russian family who are to retrieve the pilot and ‘brain’ for the Russians. Meanwhile, the Iranian Army and the local militia are desperately trying to find the pilot who has taken refuge with a rebel family ten miles from where the jet crashed. The family of six takes great risks to protect the pilot and he falls in love with the oldest daughter. With the militia and Army closing in on their home, the father decides to flee on foot with the pilot to a safe location. But when the soldiers rough up the family, the pilot fears for their lives, and convinces the father to let him turn himself in. The father takes the pilot back to the militia who beat the pilot and take him to Tehran to be tortured.The American spies learn the pilot is being held in a local Tehran hospital and plan a rescue operation but the secret police attack the Russian compound and only Troy’s superhuman effort repels them. Troy notifies the President that the pilot is in Tehran and he orders a SEAL team to put a rescue team in the desert west of Tehran. When Troy goes to the hospital to check on the pilot, he walks into a rescue attempt by the family to save the pilot. Troy quickly fills them in on who he is and they join forces. He calls Amber and the rest of the ‘family’ who meet up with the family and pilot south of Tehran. They are going to grab the brain which the pilot hid near the crashed airplane. They have little time and any mistakes could leave them stranded in the Iranian desert with enemies all around them.When the Iranian Army and militia find out the pilot has been taken, they organize a large task force and along with the secret police, pursue the Barclay team deep into the hostile Iranian desert and in a series of firefights and gun battles, block the Americans from getting to the SEAL rescue team. As a last resort, the Americans, with the soldiers always within shooting distance, flee to the Persian Gulf where with their backs to the water, they make a last stand. With tanks rolling down on them, and hundreds of soldiers shooting at them, they make a valiant effort to withstand the Iranians but when a tank squares off fifty yards in front of them and aims its main gun at them, they realize they have reached the end of the road. Only a miracle can save them.
