About Insanity's Respite

Basion City. The safest place in the Kingdom. Battered, broken, and bruised from the battles in Toniki, Exorcist Akaran DeHawk is ordered to recover at Medias Manor - a sanctuary for those who craft spells whom have been left addled or ruined by the very magic they use. And using magic is one thing that the priest can't - his punishment for stepping outside of mortal realms was as swift to his aura as the club to his knee was. While he attempts to recover from his wounds (meta- and physical both), bodies begin to pile up in the streets. As he works to mend his mind, shadows begin to whisper in every corner. As he attempts to rest, his dreams are plagued by nightmare visions. The safest place in the Kingdom, they said......may just be anything but.
