What the American inspector finds in Ireland spins the story in conflicting directions. He is driven to unravel a deeply twisted and layered chain of events in his search for the truth. Was it suicide, accident or murder? The insurance company investigator and the Irish inspector in the charge of the case develop decidedly different takes than that of the suspended American cop.
