About In Sanity The Story of Lucy Hamilton

Lucy Hamilton is used to being on her own. Between being bullied in school and being misunderstood at home, she grew accustomed to loneliness. Her life changed suddenly when she met and fell in love with a man named Lucas Barton. After his swift and sudden departure, her family accused her of fabricating him. Filled with fear and doubt, Lucy locked herself away in the Stone-Talbert Mental Health Facility. She faces her greatest trials and worst nightmares in the asylum as she attempts to cling to her sanity. As her days become endless and mundane, she struggles with the possibility that Lucas Barton was never real.
