About the book
About Imagination Fully Dilated: Science Fiction
Though perhaps best known for his horrific and macabre illustrations, World Fantasy Award-winning artist Alan M. Clark works all areas of speculative fiction. For this anthology, seventeen authors each chose one of Alan's many science fiction paintings to base a story on. Here you'll find strange alien vistas, expansive space battles, and fantastic creatures, and you'll discover the myriad ways that a strong image inspires a piece of writing. As Alan says, "Art is never the product of a single mind but occurs instead when imaginations meet." Welcome to Imagination Fully Dilated!
