About Hunting Darkness: A Vigilante Justice Thriller Short Story (Small Town Secrets)

Police ignored their anonymous tips. Now, Lucia and Shelby must trust their training and take action. They should’ve known not to trust the law. Too slow. Too protecting of the wrong people—like the traffickers currently holding a young woman hostage. With no other help in sight, it’s up to Lucia and Shelby. The plan: sneak in, distract the enemy, free the woman. Lucia and Shelby soon learn the hard way that a plan is only as good as the intel behind it. They didn’t know half of what they were walking into. The victim has a shocking secret. And the traffickers are more vicious and agile than they could have imagined. Lucia and Shelby will need all their skill and wits to rescue the missing woman and make it out of the woods alive.
