About House of Minds

The short story, the HOUSE OF MINDS, jumps ahead ten years in the future to find a world rapidly evolving due to two powerful forces. With the advent of newly developed super-computers the world of technology has been greatly altered. Just as dramatic is the evolution of the "enlightened ones", or the Indigo children and more importantly their offspring, with each generation more highly evolved than the previous. These prodigies reside in a 'think tank' with the purpose of using the revolutionary concepts of mind control and manipulation to hopefully better mankind. Certain members, however, are using the research to satisfy their own perverted agenda. Unwary of these nuances, Jim Haggerty, with his wife Selma, visit the newly named, House of Minds, after the startling discovery of a portal that transports them ten years in the future. Their quest to help a friend who may be in danger, leads them to the mind palace. Becoming separated from Selma within the large mysterious residence, Jim begins a terrifying journey where he is unsure if he is experiencing a frenzied reality or the misguided torture of the mind manipulators. To Jim's horror he is also confronted by a nightmare from the past that now seems a part of his new reality. Join this psychological merry-go-around and find out for yourself if the horror is real or manifestations from a brain corrupted by the mind masters.
