For Mia, life in paradise is much more than she bargained for. Since landing in Honolulu, she had to solve all sorts of strange cases, even the now infamous murder by sharks case. While the special agent is settling into her new home and planning her New Year festivities. The serial killer she put behind bars, Bruce Weisman, calls her with information regarding the murder case of The Dale Family. Surprisingly, as she dives into that case, she finds the connection of The Dale Family murder to another big homicide case. Oddly enough, these killings also have a potential tie to a human trafficking ring that Mia has been trying to put an end to. With the case taking many twists and turns, agent Storm faces another shock when a prisoner is found dead in his cell.
