About grimpledink: a comedy thriller
A dark Faustian thriller you won't be able to put down. Funny and terrifying, totally addictive! I draw a circle in the sand and a pentagram inside it. I drive five stakes into the points. I undress her. I tie her hands and feet and her hair to the stakes. I hide in the bushes and wait. Charlie Blake, a suicidal young writer, gets a second chance when his book proposal is accepted by a major publishing house. He sets out to investigate a series of grisly murders which happened in a small town upstate New York over a period of three sweltering days. It was as if the entire town, always so calm and peaceful, suddenly went criminally insane and then just as suddenly went back to normal. What Charlie discovers is more terrifying than he could ever have imagine--and more personal. A town full of secrets. An evil waiting to be awakened. Drawn into a dark net of intrigue and violence, Charlie must fight for survival. But at what price?
