About the book

About Grim Begins: Grim Series Book 1

With nothing left to lose, and every bridge smoldering behind him, Andrej makes a dark choice. He begins as a rebellious youngster. But the man he becomes is something else entirely: a weathered mafia boss, hardened by prison, dispensing hard-earned truths and ageless wisdom. This is the beginning of that transformation. In 1985, Andrej defies an order he was never meant to question. Branded a threat by the Stasi, he flees his homeland, only to be swept into a fate darker than he ever imagined. From the back alleys of East Berlin to the brutal existence of a Soviet Gulag, Andrej is dragged deep into the underworld. Welcome to the GRIM Series. A raw crime saga walking the edge between myth and reality. It is a story about power, survival, and the cost of becoming a man, but it is also a manual on how to find one's path in grim times. In this first act, Andrej will face betrayal, violence, and loss. He’ll learn that freedom comes at a price, and that no one walks through hell unchanged. In the darkness, he will make a choice that seals his fate.
