About God Slayer: A Dark Fantasy Military Adventure (The Black Powder Prophecy)

“Brutal, ambitious, and unflinchingly dark. Fans of Abercrombie and Lawrence will devour this." STEPHEN HUNT "Jones drags you through the muck and mire of the battlefield and into an epic adventure." DEAN KASTLE The world is consumed by war. Mighty Varrolin burns, the people starve, and those who survive fall victim to the sleepers' plague. The disgraced Captain Tallen must lead the ragged remains of his company on a desperate defense in the last hope of saving his homeland, while the gutter-born thief, Renic, picks profit from the remnants of a dying empire. But there is more at stake than mortal man could ever imagine, and as armies collide for power, the gods prowl the land for something far greater - survival. When the God of War marches, only the damned will survive. For fans of Abercrombie's The Devils, McLellan's Powder Mage, and Cornwell's Sharpe.
