About Frostborn

The first book of a captivating new series set in a Nordic-inspired world, where ancient magic awakens, and an unsuspecting hero must rise to face a chilling destiny. The Frostborn: a mythical figure destined to bring peace to the realm. That is if one believes the tales. These days, few cling to such hope in the kingdom of Eljud, where a fiery army from the south encroaches further onto their territory with each passing day. Fewer still would suspect that their fated saviour is a runaway slave. During an evacuation of his hometown due to the ongoing war, Elias Jökull slips his bonds and is apprehended by several of Eljud's elite soldiers. While beaten to near death as punishment, a dormant power awakens in himself-a command over ice and snow that can only mean he is the foretold Frostborn. Suddenly caught up in a power struggle between a kingdom that has always wronged him and the one responsible for uprooting his entire life, he must swiftly decide where his loyalties lie. But as the war rages on and more secrets are unearthed, Elias wonders: how much longer can he tolerate being used?
