About Freight Train
"Freight Train" is a West Coast based up and coming rock and roll band that is trying to rise to the top of the music industry during the mid 1960's. In addition to facing the normal challenges one faces as a life -on-the-road musical band, "Freight Train" has several dark secrets that could cause endanger their very existence. Ryder Kennedy, the band's front man, is a dynamic performer with model looks and great vocalist range. He is also morphing into a closet homosexual which was forbidden in the industry during these turbulent times. Ryder's new-found interests will not benefit the band's chances for ultimate survival. . A more serious and deadly situation is the presence of Curt Blackwood as a fellow member of this band. Curt has recently returned from a full sting in Viet Nam as a U.S. Marine. Curt returned home as damaged goods. All successful West Coast bands at that time had regular female fans that followed the bands of their choice. These fans are known as groupies. Shannon was included in "Freight Train's" fan followers. She was anybody's girl, as long as her target was a known performer. Curt became obsessed with her and quickly decided that she was going to be his girl and his girl only. Too bad that Shannon didn't share that opinion. Situations developed that angered Curt, and Curt used the #1 skill he learned in Viet Nam - how to kill. Bodies started to pile up as Curt's obsession turned him into a serial killer. Curt was out-of-control. Who could stop him?
