About Flukes A Humorous Florida Crime Thriller

Exploding boats, flaming helicopters, Florida politicians, and a manatee named Dante: NTSB Investigator Mat McElvy is an expert on plane crashes, having almost been killed in one himself. But dispatched to his hometown of Fernandina Beach, he uncovers a situation far more complex than the helicopter crash that landed two people in cold storage. Presented with a conspiracy theory from a surprise source, McElvy finds himself in a world of counterfeit goods, dirty real estate transactions, hostile ex-girlfriends, and locals who are disappearing by the boatload. Then a fellow investigator winds up dead, and the evidence points to him. His race for the truth lands him aboard a yacht anchored atop a cold sea on a dark night, facing a murder weapon sixteen million years in the making. But will he be in time to prevent more death?
