About Flames: The Elemental Saga

Two Flames. One Crown. A hundred years ago, in the lands of Quintem, a war broke out between its five nations. Rumors have spread about what started this war, and there seems to be one detail they share: a queen wielding all five elements. Yet, Circe Starr has always suspected her nation, Belcepit, as the instigator. As her eighteenth birthday rolls around, she, along with the other graduates in her year, prepares to be separated into one of the three factions of Belcepit: Nightfighters, Nurturers, or Scribes. But the clumsy and petite Circe is unexpectedly sorted as a Nightfighter. Despite her odds and under the careful watch of Ajax Mariani, Circe surprisingly masters all four elements. Unfortunately, danger soon finds her as she is plagued with whispers of the past and begins to wield the forbidden Aether. Now, with the ruthless Commander Francois hunting for the prophesized Aether-wielder, Circe and her friends uncover a truth buried deep inside the academy—she might be their only hope to end the century-long war.
