This book series has been my life project. It began about 20 years ago when I was in middle school, and it is now finally coming to be. The twelfth in a series, this book is done in true Final Fantasy fashion. It features characters, locations, weapons, magic, monsters, and items from the games, along with the comic mischief that the games are known for. The only difference here, is that this series is written as a play. In this twelfth book, the entire world is on the verge of collapse. Continents are merging, along with the past, present, and future. New locations appear all over, along with brand new monsters that are looking for a fight. With desperation in their hearts, the party seeks out every ally they have left. They all finally converge on the Krystal Palace, and begin their long assault. The palace is greater than any other castle in existence, and is filled with the most dangerous of creatures. Despite the odds against them, the party is unwilling to surrender, and are ready to give their lives for the planet. It has all come down to this, in FFTP: Defenders of the Universe.
