15 cold cases, still open, still unsolved, and the killer is still out there. He carefully chooses his victims not by their actions but by their words, because he understands better than anyone that words can kill. For years, he has been sentencing people to death for the sentences they created, leaving a trail of bodies across the country. Radio DJ Andy Thompson had it all. A loving wife, a great career, and a comfortable life. Words were his tools of choice, and talking for a living made him happy. After getting let go from his job in Wichita, Kansas, Andy and his wife Melissa started fresh in Portland, Maine. Those words Andy relied on for his career would soon put his life in danger and place his very existence in the hands of a self-proclaimed warrior of God. With the discovery of more bodies, it was up to Detective Gabby Andrews and her partner, Detective Daphne Bridges, to find this maniac before he killed again, before he passed down sentence, before he had the final word.
