About Father's Land: A Thriller Novel

Five years have passed since Otis Lovejoy began his sojourn in America. He has now returned home to Nigeria, disillusioned, to the land where he grew in a small town called Futa Mallon, located in the middle-belt region. A lot has changed since he left the country, and he is quick to observe this. Armed militant bandits have sprung up across the country, relentlessly terrorising the civilian population. One of such terrorist group is called the Black Path, of which his brother Joshua has since fled home to become a member. One afternoon, a bomb goes off in a crowded market square in Minna, killing dozens of people. Kingsley barely survives, but his girlfriend, Sybil, doesn't. Otis vows revenge as he becomes a blood-thirsty vigilante and starts going after the five group leaders of the Black Path, intending on taking them out one by one until he encounters their alleged leader known by the alias Ishmael, who so happens to be his brother. The further he does, the more Otis learns about his impending fate, unaware of the ubiquitous criminal mastermind leading him towards his death.
