About Exit Down Left
Pychological suspense There is more drama offstage than on in this psychological thriller set in and around England's provincial theatres.Peter is having a midlife crisis whilst playing the Tin Man in a third-rate tour of 'The Wizard of Oz'. The camp backstage banter feels as hollow as ever, especially when you're gay, approaching fifty and broke. A one way ticket to Spain could be the answer, but there is something evil and obsessive lurking in the wings. In the real world there are characters even stranger than the inhabitants of Oz. John is frantically turning his garage into a torture chamber, whilst fending off Doreen, a religious fanatic who seems to be stalking him. She's a woman on a mission as her son has gone missing, but he'll turn up unharmed - won't he?Fate beckons them all towards an inevitable and frightening climax.
