About Dragon Forged Chronicles of Dragon Aerie Young Adult Fantasy Fiction

In the long desert only the strong survive, but it will take more than strength to survive what's coming. In the long desert, civilization doesn't run according to any rule, and Wylan Atwater is about to learn that the hard way. Her first circuit as a member of the dragon guard is a simple one--get a feel for the land, find any survivors of the dragon plague that she can, and bring them back to the ramshackle haven of Darubai. But a sandstorm and magic wielding drakes destroy those plans. Injured, far from safety, and without the use of her ability to shift into a wyvern, Wylan isn't sure she will survive to see another day, let alone loved ones and the tenuous safety of home ever again. Filled with dragon battles, mysterious magic attacks, and a hopeless quest that holds a glimmer of hope for Darubai, Dragon Forged continues the story of Wylan Atwater, and her need to find a purpose in her cursed life.
