About Deadly Paths

In the brutal heat of summer, a lot can happen in a quiet desert town including murder! The sweltering August begins with the shooting of a teenage boy, Frank's case. On the same day, a particularly obedient sixteen-year-old girl disappears taking nothing with her and leaving behind only distraught parents. Bill's the lead on this one. How did she vanish without a trace? Across town, a long-married couple of seeming total respectability, living quiet orderly lives are poisoned in the simple act of taking their vitamin pills. Now, Tec has his own predicament to sort out. No longer a quiet summer, the team is fully employed. It's a bittersweet summer for Tec. Domestic problems often overshadow professional ones. Old cases arise too. Summer lightening streaks the sky as clashes occur and paths cross.
