About Dead Heat A Speedway Thriller

It's 2015 and British speedway's final Elite League season provides the exciting back-drop to the events that rocked the sport and in particular those people who organised and supported the Battersea Bulldogs Speedway Team!Harry Walsh works for the impoverished internet radio station, Speedway FM. He loves his job, his old Triumph Bonneville and his girlfriend, Rosie Higgins. Rosie is beautiful, intelligent, sensitive and courageous, but should not be allowed anywhere near a kitchen. She is also the niece and PA to Barry Leech who is the wealthy driving force behind an international group of companies and the innovative promoter who created the Battersea Bulldogs. The Speedway world and their personal worlds are about to be viciously torn apart and their lives turned upside down as a ruthless killer turns a deadly hatred upon them. DEAD HEAT follows the meetings from the last months of the 2016 season and weaves an exciting murder mystery into the fabric of the speedway world. The story is littered with real riders from the teams of that season so that speedway fans can relive the real results and the real races as well as the action packed murderous storyline. For those new to speedway the novel becomes a murder mystery within an vibrant sporting background and (if required) there is an explanation of the rules, scoring system, league system etc.
