About Creature of the Night (A Monster Hunter Mystery)

A flying monster bedevils Morgan Carter in the latest intriguing entry of this USA Today bestselling mystery series. Morgan, along with her boyfriend/new partner Jon, is called to Washington Island off the coast of Door County, Wisconsin, to investigate a particularly baffling mystery. A man’s body has been found at the bottom of a cliff. A fall from a height like this is tragic but not shocking. What is stunning are the reports of a weird screeching sound and sightings of a flying man-sized figure with glowing red eyes. The description fits the well-known cryptid, Mothman. As an accomplished cryptozoologist, Morgan is used to following the clues wherever they lead even if it means asking questions others scoff at. But this time around, the answers she finds may not be so easily dismissed—and they may push her into unexpected personal danger.
