About the book

About Cop Out

A pacy hardboiled noir novel – featuring two bonus short stories – from one of the most popular mystery writers of all time. Pulling off the payroll robbery was the easy part for Furia and his two accomplices, even if it did cost one man his life. The hard part? Getting away with it, with all the town’s cops on the criminals’ trail. But Furia’s girl has a scheme in mind, to force one of the cops to help them – by kidnapping his young daughter. Wes Malone is the cop caught in a desperate bind: help the killers escape with a satchel full of cash, or try to stop them and risk his daughter’s life.
