About Code 3 on Buena Vista: Book 4 of The Haight Mystery Series

Lieut. Jimmy Spracklin knows it's his job to find the sniper who shot SFPD investigator Jake Jansen on a dark sideroad in Haight-Ashbury. But it’s complicated. First, Spracklin suspects (but can’t prove) the shooting was underworld payback for a dirty cop. And second, he and Jansen can’t stand each other. As the sniper grows bolder and the body count rises, Spracklin’s investigation leads him to a Vietnam-vet-turned-boxer, a hippie socialite, stoned owners of a recording studio and a social club full of patriotic thugs. Code 3 on Buena Vista will show you why Tampa crime writer George L. Fleming calls The Haight Mystery Series “gritty & groovy.” Here’s what Amazon readers are already saying about the series: ★★★★★ ‘An excellent read.’ – David ★★★★★ ‘I loved this book!’ – Martha ★★★★★ ‘I'm hooked on the series’ – Rosanna ★★★★★ ‘You'll want to buy this book!’ – Janet ★★★★★ ‘Bring on the second book.’ – Phillip ★★★★★ ‘I could not put this book down,’ – Judith ★★★★★ ‘This book took me only a day to read!’ – Sabina ★★★★★ ‘The Haight is a book you’ll find hard to put down!’ – Dorian ★★★★★ ‘Looking forward to reading the next one in the series!’ – Denville ★★★★★ ‘This is a must read, no matter what your typical genre is.’ – Linda
