An empty village makes for a mystery two young boys, 'Yata and Lubic', must solve. On the say so of a dying man, they set out into the unknown world beyond the forest of Bilderdale to bring back their friends who, led by the elders of their village, are on their Everment journey to a holy shrine far to he west. The journey will be long and dangerous with many new and wonderful things for them to discover. But all is not as it seems. Beyond the wild river and forest, they must find a lake and a ravine where they hope to meet the everment group. All their hopes are dashed at what they find. Death and destruction, from which they must run for their lives. Lost now, they wander in an unfamiliar wilderness until they happen upon a surviving elder, he tells them to go west, find the Mother Donndit... ' She will know what to do...'Once again alone, they travel for long and weary days until, near starvation, they find the mother home. She is mystified but understands what has happened after the two boys relate the horrors they have witnessed. 'We must go north.' she says. 'To the land of the 'MossMoss'. 'It is there we shall find the answers.' with her daughter Luna, and her faithfull hound, they call upon the 'Amrons' for their help to cross a wide desert where devil birds and magical apparitions abound. On, to the tundra and snake valley with its mythical 'giant snake'. Flee from crocs and the piranna. Plunge into a hidden river to find a monster from the sea waiting for them. Day after weary day they travel, through a fog shrouded swamp land where a wrong footing could lead to yet more suffering. To a jungle which blocks their way. An enormous creature attacks them, and all is lost but for help from the 'Almoree', a tribe of people from deep within the jungle whom they befriend and are offered help with their quest.The chief 'Magma' tells them the 'Hoober' the keeper of the gate awaits. He who sees all and knows all.' questions are asked and answered from a Lord who has lived for a thousand years.'Our people must come togehter, will come together but the bonding will not be without pain nor loss of friends.'Fond warewells and still more danger with the 'Dimba' a tribe of head hunters living in a valley of mist. A mountain pass covered with snow and a first meeting with the MoossMoss tribe and 'Saltor' he will not let union take place and plots to destroy any hope of the two tribes coming together. Outnumbered and facing sure death, 'Delgrid' of the 'Almoree' and his warriors face their dome until the mythical gods of the mountains appear and give aide. These truly magnificent beings lead the mother and her children safely to the MossMoss village high in the northern regions. Here they meet their kin for the first time in a thousand years. Here ata, Lubic and Luna learn of their true path. Yet here again destiny strikes a cruel blow for one of the children until, five years later, all are finally joined once more, and a prohesy from a thousand years gone by, will finally come to its conclusion.
