A speedy hospital recovery, assisted by fiancé Christy, allows Alan and his confidants to unravel a conspiracy involving high level Washington officials, black ops thugs, as well as executives in the insurance company's hierarchy. But the evildoers are ruthless, arranging murders in Bermuda, assassinating an FBI agent, and kidnapping Christy, all efforts to derail Knight's investigation.
