About Bad Wife
Bad Wife is a psychological thriller that follows two Texas schoolteachers on a summer trip across the US and Canada. While on the trip, Amanda slowly realizes that her husband is planning the perfect “accident” to end her life. Amanda Cruz has spent nine years holding together a marriage built on charm, impulsivity, and hard compromises. But when her husband, Mark, discovers that he stands to inherit millions from his family’s ranch in Blanco, Texas, his restlessness turns into an obsession. A summer road trip becomes his chance for freedom (if Amanda doesn’t return home). Bad Wife is a sharp, twist-driven story about marriage, survival, and the quiet strength of the woman everyone underestimates. The author drew inspiration from her teacher friends for this fictitional story. She also used places from her twenty years of summer travel during her teaching career.
