About the book
About Angel of Death: And Other Short Stories
After many years of mental abuse, a troubled young man gets his revenge. First, he kills his father, whom he deeply hates. When he accidentally kills a thief, a serial killer is born. To get rid of the bodies, he begins to feed the homeless, winos, and drug addicts that gather in a decrepit park across the street from his butcher shop. His loving grandmother becomes an eager accomplice. Abnormally shy as a teenager, Angel becomes even more timid and introverted by his father's false accusations of homosexuality. Unable to have relationships with girls his age, his mind is stuck in the obsession of only wanting teenagers, thus turning him into a potential pedophile in his adult years. Angel's grandfather emigrated from Mexico to the US in 1930. He started a little corner grocery store and turned it into a butcher shop. Angel's father begins a cycle of murder by his insane feelings of envy and jealousy. In Angel's mind, the first two murders he commits are justifiable. But while committing the rest, he is just an irrational serial killer. On the surface, he is just as normal as anyone else. It all happens in Visalia. In the California Central Valley.
