About An Heir Unfit Book One of the Unmade Series

Ash has never been his Father's favorite, too soft to be a Baron's heir at the edge of the world. In a merciless land shaped by echoes of the Desolation, all he wants is to live without care and ease the cares of his people -preferably without the constant disdain of his family. But when Ash encounters a Fey boy in a cellar, the dark threats of the past become a reality. Accompanied by a family rival, a slimy cad, and a young madman, Ash sets out to finally prove himself as a worthy son of Windemere...but the cost may be too high, and the status quo is no longer an option. An Heir Unfit is the first installment in this YA fantasy adventure drama. With viking influences, mythical beasts, magic, family intrigue, lies and betrayal, Cortnie Delaney's work will transport the reader in this exciting introduction into the world of the Fey and the Mawcat.
