About An Ambitious Hope A Red Riding Hood Retelling
"Can one find hope when they aren't meant to give it? Ruby Merrigan is a mage who specializes in Healing powers. She can’t wait to begin an apprenticeship and fulfill her dreams of wielding magic for good - but when she sneaks out of the house to visit her grandmother, she’s abducted by Wolf shapeshifters who demand her help, and they’re not taking no for an answer. Surrounded by intrigue, Ruby looks for answers and makes a horrifying discovery: she isn’t the mage the Wolves were after. Fearing what will happen when they find out the truth, she decides to pose as the real target for as long as she can. If Ruby speaks up, she will put both herself and the true mage they need in danger - but if she stays silent, she may be taking away the Wolves’ only hope." --Amazon.
