About Always There An Elijah Shaw Thriller

Evil was always there...Kids playing in the woods stumbled upon nine barrels floating in the river; each barrel held unspeakable horrors. A few miles downriver, in one of the poorest barrios in Costa Rica, a woman's early morning screams woke up and terrified a neighborhood accustomed to violence. As Elijah Shaw, a detective with the Judicial Investigation Police, looks into the two grisly crime scenes, his investigations seem to point to a team of serial killers, including the infamous Bedroom Killer that had eluded justice for over twenty years - a cold case that included Shaw's mother as one the serial killer's last victims.Shaw must face childhood trauma and fight against police bureaucracy in order to track an elusive killer with the help of FBI Profiler, Alexandra Needham, before more innocent people die.
