About A Tale of Fragile Fate

After the death of her mother, Lake Watson relied on her father to be the glue that holds her family together. That is, until one rainy evening when she and her brother, Daniel, are abandoned at a train station with nothing more than two pieces of luggage, a one-way ticket to a boarding school in Vermont, and a mysterious family heirloom. Forced to unravel the secrets involving their enrollment, Lake soon discovers that Astryn Penn Academy is unlike any place she ever knew existed. With classmates that are out of the ordinary, a brother with an unexplainable power, and a locket that holds more truth than she realizes, Lake turns to an unexpected classmate for answers. Reid Beckett. As the mysteries of the academy grow, so does Lake's connection to the boy with a daunting past and a secret of his own. Together, the two must connect the fragments of memories once forgotten and uncover the truth that's concealed within the walls of Astryn Penn. Before it's too late.
