Teaming up with a jaded detective, they have to find out the truth behind a tainted drug that is spreading amaongst the sleepy Canadian community. Can they stop it before everything is in place for the endgame?ADRIFT (Script written, comic in production)A comic I've written and is currently being produced. Follows kids who wake up alone and scared on a derelict junk vessel not so slowly falling into a sun. Can they get free and find the pirates who took their parents, pirates who are using all the slave labour they can get to build the largest fleet to ever fly under a single flag. My artist has been working at it for a while, In a shared universe with my next novel after Urban Fantasy.ADRIFT: HOMELESS (In conception)A sci-fi novel about a doctor named David Stanfield living on a dying desert world with a dwindling populace. He's recruited by a secret government program to build a large colony ship to take their people to find a new home in the stars. Things won't be simple, however, with a growing resistance planetside fighting against what they feel is a waste of resources. Just when "The Rebirth" is finally ready to set off, things get worse as their captain is killed and Dr. Stanfield is forced to take command of their crew against an alien with technology far more advanced than theirs. One side has lasers and large energy shields that make them seemingly invincible. Stanfield's crew has technology only pejoratively more advanced than our own. They have infinite numbers.
