This short story sets the stage for a mini-series. A satirical legal thriller about a Latina, who didn't "get the memo" prior to moving to the foreign land of Carni-fornia. She had been recovering from a mild traumatic brain injury and ended up in a precarious situation where she had to use her strategic skills and leverage her neuro-atypical traits to maneuver through the Twilight Zone. Somehow she entered a parallel universe where indigent, under-privileged people would be openly mocked by local Authorities for not partaking in absurd activities that seemed inline with their moral relativism.
