About the book

About A Hole in Time

Vrai Caroll O’Neal never expected her quiet writing retreat in the Rockies to turn into a fight for survival. After a painful divorce, she traded Nashville’s chaos for a secluded cabin in Ouray, Colorado, hoping to craft her next bestseller. But when Vrai unexpectedly comes face-to-face with Alvarez Vasquez—a notorious criminal she once covered as a journalist—her peaceful escape becomes a deadly game of revenge. Vasquez, wanted for a string of horrific crimes, had escaped a Knoxville jail and vanished from the FBI’s radar. They believed he’d crossed the border into Mexico. They were wrong. Now, secluded in the mountains with no one to call for help, Vrai must rely on her wits to survive. She knows exactly what this man is capable of—and he has no idea that she knows. A tense Rocky Mountain thriller of criminal justice, and a woman who refused to accept his existence.
