About A Deadly Legacy

A Deadly Legacy is a criminal mystery, thriller, suspense novel with multiple points of view set in 1968. Opening in Orlando Florida, Charlie Harrington, a civilian nurse, has been consulted by Director Hoover to aid in developing the Behavioral Analysis Unit. Agent Michael Vale, burnt out from his long career and away from his crumbling home life, awaits the arrival of his newly assigned partner. Unbeknownst to him it is Charlie. As Michael and Charlie work to solve the murder of Jane Doe they are pursued in secret by the unsub - Paul Miller. As the novel progresses Paul becomes more and more aggressive in his "cat and mouse" methodology in which he describes as his "master plan", especially towards Charlie. Paul is no stranger to violence. Raised amidst moonshine and mobsters, he murdered his father and had his sister Evelyn committed to Bellevue to achieve his own sense of success and manhood. When the case begins to grow cold, Director Hoover calls his team back. It's a race against time to solve Jane Doe's murder. It's a race against time before Charlie's life hangs in the balance. In the end, no one goes unscathed without bloodshed.
