Science Fiction
Some books invite you in. Others arrive with a title like a mission briefing.
I’ve got *Star Wars - Return of the Jedi (Step-up Movie Adventure)* on my Want to Read shelf mostly out of curiosity. Step-up tie-ins can be very useful, or they can explain the obvious with admirable commitment. Either way, I’m mildly interested in how it handles the end of *Return of the Jedi* without flattening it into instructions.
There’s a narrow path between brisk and over-explained. That’s usually where the better children’s tie-ins live.
