Science Fiction
Psychohistorical Crisis feels less like a neat sci-fi premise and more like a punishment of the mind. That made it unsettling in a way I wasn’t expecting.
The setup is clever, obviously, but not flashy-clever. It gets under the skin. I kept waiting for it to turn into something more familiar and it never really did. Which is probably why it stayed with me.
Anyone else find the premise more disturbing than impressive?
