Web Warriors is one of those titles that does half the work before you even get to the blurb. New York plus cyberspace is a decent enough hook on its own.

I’m mostly curious whether it’s the sort of science fiction that cares about people as much as the premise. In YA hands, that setup could be brilliant. In straighter sci-fi, it might end up feeling like it’s sprinting past the characters to get back to the concept.

Either way, I’m interested. The title sounds like it could go either way, which is usually where I start paying attention.

“Cyberspace” in a juvenile sci-fi title does a lot of heavy lifting. Sometimes that means proper imagination, sometimes it means the book has a shiny idea and not much patience for the humans inside it.

I’d be more interested if it lets the setting feel a bit messy rather than treating New York plus the internet like a clean puzzle. A little friction usually helps.
