The title alone does a lot of work here. Within Ash and Stardust sounds like it knows exactly what mood it wants.

I’m curious whether this leans more into atmosphere and chemistry than hard worldbuilding. YA sci-fi romance can be very good when it trusts its characters first and explains the machinery later. That usually makes for a better read than pages of lore, at least for me.

Also, “Throne?” as a summary is doing something slightly odd and therefore interesting.

That title sounds like it wants a bit of grit under the sparkle, which is usually a better sign than pure gloss. YA sci-fi romance can work well when the relationship has actual pressure on it, not just flirting in a shiny setting.

“Throne?” is the part that makes me pause. Slightly ridiculous, but in a way that suggests the book knows it is being odd on purpose.
