Still not sure whether I want this one for the superhero side or the “you are thousands of years old” side.

The second bit is doing most of the work for me, honestly. That’s the sort of premise that can go very strange in a good way if it leans into scale and atmosphere instead of just punching things until everyone feels better about themselves. Which is, let’s be fair, a risk with anything wearing a cape.

The “thousands of years old” part is the bit that interests me too. Superhero books can be strangely timid about age, as if longevity is just a costume detail rather than something that should warp the whole story. If this one actually lets the scale feel ancient, awkward and a bit unsettling, that’s more compelling than another round of neatly arranged heroics.
