Fantasy
The Farthest Shore is the sort of fantasy I want more often: not frantic, just quietly absorbing. The premise is straightforward enough, but Le Guin lets the mood do a lot of the work, and it lingers.
What stayed with me most was the sense of space around everything. It never feels rushed into explaining itself. If you like fantasy that leans atmospheric rather than busy, this is a very good place to spend some time.
